Do I have to subscribe to a service to use my GPS?
No, the GPS satellites are owned by the United States Department of Defense and have been funded by U.S. taxpayer's dollars. Reception of satellite signals is free to anyone.
How often is map data updated and how do I get the updates?
Map data is updated annually, registered users are notified via email when updates become available.
What is a PND?
PND stands for " Personal Navigation device" A PND is a hardware device that has an integrated GPS receiver and is primarily used for navigation purposes. Some PNA's or all-in-one navigation devices can also play MP3 and video files.

Why is Destinator 7 available for some devices and not others?
Differences in hardware mean Destinator software has to be specifically written for each device. Because of this the latest version for one device might be v.6 and another might be v.7.
